A day in Valencia

Mike and Elena join Jim, Jordan and myself for breakfast at the hotel. We then head out to the local sights. We cruise through the market. Look at this paella.

We next go to the textile museum. Turns out it is an empty building where silk and textiles were traded. I think we could have used a tour guide on this one to bring it alive. You needed a lot of imagination in an empty building

Now on to the cathedral, but the main sanctuary is closed today- but the walk to the top for a view of the city is open, I’m just not up for lots more stairs, so we all pass.

Next stop, St Nicolas. Tucked down an alley it is quite ornate. They were offering a light show while we were there which lit up the ceiling and highlighted the art.
