A morning in the Alhambra

Get ready for pictures…this place amazed us.

I was diligent before we left home to make sure we had tickets for the Alhambra. From what I deduced it was really the Nasrid Palace that you needed tickets for - the rest of the Alhambra is open to all. I did get 3 tickets for timed entries at 10:00, so we were set.

They are in the process of cleaning the walls. You can see how much whiter it is on the left.

And the the building with the toilets and the food - perfect combo.

And now to my favorite of the day. We end our tour and head to a restaurant. I’m sure you won’t be surprised that we did not order the fried diced dogfish. When we finished lunch, the waiter asked who got the bill - both Jim and Jordan ponted to me. I started to pay when the waiter looked at Jordan and asked if he was the son, when Jordan said yes - the waiter said “then you pay”. We all laughed and he handed Jordan the credit card machine which Jordan paid.

And back for a little rest and pool time.

We are going back downtown for dinner - but Jordan found a much quicker way that did not involve all the steps I had to navigate yesterday. It’s basically a long slopping road..but we will have to climb back up.
